Ask Atlas is not a lawyer
Ask Atlas is an automated information tool. It may misunderstand a question, omit an exception, rely on incomplete context, or produce an inaccurate answer. Its output is general information, not legal advice or a case evaluation, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship.
Ask Atlas must not be used for emergencies, deadline calculations, document review, predictions, or decisions about filing, signing, quitting, accepting money, or giving up rights. Request a human case review for fact-specific guidance.
Do not submit identifying or confidential information
Do not enter names, email addresses, phone numbers, Social Security numbers, financial details, medical records, documents, or other confidential facts. Automated screening may refuse questions that appear to contain identifiers or instructions aimed at bypassing the tool's safeguards.
Rate limits and global usage ceilings protect the service from abuse and uncontrolled cost. Ask Atlas may temporarily become unavailable when those limits are reached.
Optional quality logging
A visitor may separately opt in to retaining a question and answer for quality review. Opted-in logs are assigned a one-way request fingerprint and a default 30-day expiration. Leaving the option unchecked means no Ask Atlas quality log is created by the application.
Even when quality logging is enabled, do not submit identifying or confidential information. The firm may use aggregated operational data to maintain security and service quality.
