Abbey Peterson earned her undergraduate degree summa cum laude in Communications with a specialization in Business Marketing from Florida Institute of Technology. She earned her private pilot’s license, competed on the Women’s Varsity Tennis Team for four years, and received the Faculty Honors Award and Female Scholar-Athlete Award.

Abbey earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from Harvard Law School. She received Dean’s Scholar Prizes in Employment Law, Family Law, and Food and Drug Law; contributed to OnLabor; and participated in the Employment Law Clinic at the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights.

After law school, Abbey served as a judicial clerk to U.S. District Judge Gerald J. Pappert in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She then joined Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in Washington, D.C., where she litigated labor-and-employment matters under Title VII, the ADA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA, and the Federal Service Labor-Management Relations Statute. She also conducted anti-discrimination training, investigated misconduct allegations, and assessed workplace culture.

At Atlas, Abbey leads training and serves as a subject-matter resource for the employment intake team, with a focus on a client-centered intake experience and strong case preparation.
